Social media marketing is the process of
engaging in social media platforms for advertising. In this internet era, getting
involved into social media marketing has turned to be mandatory for all
businesses. This study has been conducted among young entrepreneurs in order to
understand their perception towards social media marketing and its impact in
businesses. Primary data has been collected from 75 respondents who are
entrepreneurs below 35 years of age. Convenience sampling technique has been
employed, Cronbach’s Alpha reliability coefficients- 0.857, Statistical tools used
include One Sample  T Test, Independent
Sample T Test, One way ANOVA and Chi-Square for reporting the results. This
article shall help us in understanding the most preferred social media platform
and form of  social media advertisements for
young entrepreneurs along  with their
views towards various dimensions of social media marketing
